About Our Company
Colorado Time Systems' concept was born in the Test & Measurement division of Hewlett-Packard. HP wanted to explore opportunities in the sports timing industry and chose aquatics because it required such precise measurement. In 1972, four Hewlett-Packard engineers spun off from HP and founded CTS. From those very specific aquatic beginnings, an extensive and multi-faceted sports timing and display company was born.

At Colorado Time Systems we are proud of our reputation as the creator of the best swim timing and scoring products in the world. We take the responsibility that goes with that reputation very seriously. Throughout the years, we have recognized product needs in the industry and brought them to fruition; including LED matrix displays for all venues, and athlete training tools. We are not only interested in supporting championship level athletes or events, we are here to promote all athletes at all levels.

The solutions that we provide make it possible for thousands of customers around the world to be able to have and own swim training tools and timing systems that are not only accurate but affordable.

I would personally like to thank each of you for your continued support of Colorado Time Systems throughout the years. Without you, we would not have the opportunities that we have today. We currently have installations in over 120 countries worldwide and hundreds of competitions under our belt. It has always been our intention to enhance the sport.
